Piatto della Valle is a decorative dish made using the sodium silicate technique. It has a distinctive foot, formed by a double ring embellished with sediment of colour left during decoration. Piatto della Valle has two lines, one inside and one outside, that delimit its shape and curvature, giving it a sense of protection like a valley. The white border very elegantly demarcates the boundary between outside and inside. The artist has deliberately allowed the rotary effect of the lathe to be visible in places. The heart has shades ranging from green to light brown that make it glow in the light due to vitrification during the last firing process. The darker central part represents the earth, with the valley's inhabitants around it. It is a particularly recommended piece for those with light décor who wish to warm up with a small dish.
